If adding in a new aspect to your business, such as building a Bar/Lounge to compliment your Snack Bar and Bowling departments, you’ll need to add a new Division. Divisions are taken into account in some reports such as the Day report, when splitting up revenue figures. To add a new Division, go to Setup on the bottom left hand side, followed by Divisions. Click the Red plus sign (+), and fill in a name for your new division. To save your work, simply click the yellow check mark and then the “Done” button.
Subdivisions correspond to any group of terminals that are treated as one “station”. Subdivisions each have their own shifts and cash sheets, so unless you wish to combine two or more terminals’ revenue, you’ll have one subdivision per terminal in your center.
To add a new subdivision/terminal, first click Setup, followed by Subdivisions. Click the Red plus (+) sign to add a new subdivision. Give your new Subdivision a name, and choose what Division it belongs to. Next, choose an entry sheet that best describes the terminal, such as choosing the “Food and Beverage” Entry Sheet for a new Snack Bar terminal. This list may have only one item, which is alright.
Next check off “Import Conqueror POS” and choose from the dropdown that best describes your new terminal. Again, if there is only one option that is A-OK, just choose that option and move on. Finally, fill in the import filter with the Conqueror terminal’s ID number. You can find this in Conqueror’s shift management.
Save your work by clicking the yellow check mark, and you’re done! The new terminal will show up on any new days opened in Dassle, but not any old days.
